DAY 01 :
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by your guide and driver who will accompany you throughout your journey. From Kathmandu, you will embark on a scenic drive to Nagarkot, a beautiful hill station located on the outskirts of the valley. Nagarkot is famous for its panoramic views of the Himalayas, especially during sunrise and sunset. Upon reaching Nagarkot, you will check in to your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. In the evening, you can witness a breathtaking sunset over the snow-capped peaks and capture some stunning photographs.
DAY 02 :
Rise early in the morning to witness the magical sunrise over the Himalayas. Nagarkot offers a stunning view of the eastern Himalayan range, including Mt. Everest, on a clear day. After enjoying the sunrise, you can have a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. You have the option to explore the beautiful hiking trails around Nagarkot, which offer picturesque views of the surrounding countryside and mountains. In the afternoon, you can visit the Nagarkot View Tower, a popular vantage point that provides a 360-degree panoramic view of the Himalayas. Take in the breathtaking scenery and marvel at the majestic peaks that stretch as far as the eye can see. In the evening, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful ambiance of Nagarkot.
DAY 03 :
After breakfast, you will check out from your hotel in Nagarkot and proceed towards Pokhara. The journey from Nagarkot to Pokhara takes approximately 6-7 hours by road, and along the way, you will pass through picturesque landscapes, charming villages, and scenic valleys. Upon reaching Pokhara, you will check in to your hotel and have the rest of the day at your leisure. Pokhara is known for its serene lakes, including the famous Phewa Lake, where you can take a boat ride and enjoy the tranquility of the surroundings. In the evening, you can explore the vibrant Lakeside area, which is lined with shops, restaurants, and cafes.
DAY 04 :
Start your day early with a visit to Sarangkot, a popular viewpoint located just outside Pokhara. Sarangkot offers breathtaking views of the sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. The sight of the golden rays illuminating the snow-capped peaks is truly awe-inspiring. After witnessing the sunrise, you will return to Pokhara and have breakfast at your hotel. In the morning, you can visit the Bindabasini Temple, a sacred Hindu shrine dedicated to Goddess Durga. This temple holds immense religious significance for the locals and offers a peaceful atmosphere. Later, you can explore the Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, which is known for its intricate limestone formations and a hidden waterfall. In the evening, you can relax by the lakeside and enjoy the stunning views of the mountains reflected in the tranquil waters of Phewa Lake.
DAY 05 :
After breakfast, you will bid farewell to Pokhara and drive back to Kathmandu. The journey takes approximately 6-7 hours. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will check in to your hotel and have the rest of the day at your leisure. You can explore the bustling streets of Thamel, a popular tourist area in Kathmandu known for its shops, restaurants, and vibrant atmosphere. You can also visit some of the historical and cultural landmarks in the city, such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), or Pashupatinath Temple, depending on your interests.
DAY 6 :
On your final day in Nepal, you can further explore the cultural heritage of Kathmandu. You can visit the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, or Boudhanath Stupa.
